About us

Anton Haban founded the company in 1926.

Thanks to his unflagging industriousness, he was soon able to expand and open branch shops in Vienna’s best locations. Knowledge, skill and the will to provide the best soon turned “Haban” and the company name “Juwel” into watchwords for one of the leading companies in the jewellery business.

After more than 90 years, the shop at Kohlmarkt 1 in Vienna’s First District is still the headquarters of our renowned family business, rich in tradition, after the other locations were gradually phased out in the course of time.

Today, Maria Naar-Haban, Anton Haban’s daughter, manages the business at Kohlmarkt 1 in the manner handed down by her father.
